North Oaks Refresh

In the summer of 2023, we collaborated with a busy family of five in North Oaks, Minnesota, to rejuvenate the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The client desired to create warm, welcoming, and highly functional spaces that offered a true retreat—without any demolition or major construction.

For the bedroom, we created a striking accent wall to anchor the design, complemented by thoughtfully selected furnishings that balanced style and comfort. Modern lighting fixtures were chosen to enhance both ambiance and functionality, while a fresh coat of paint brought cohesion and warmth to the space.

We carried this color palette into the ensuite bathroom to provide fluidity from space to space. By simply painting the existing bathroom vanities and mirror frames, we were able to maximize the budget while achieving a dramatic transformation. Careful attention was paid to details like new cabinet hardware and simple decor, ensuring the space felt polished yet practical for daily use.

The result is a beautifully cohesive primary suite that exudes comfort, style, and functionality. This project showcases how creative, detail-driven design can transform spaces into personal sanctuaries—without the need for major renovations.
