The Friday Five Series
I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been great about blogging or sending newsletters. My intentions are always good, but unfortunately, life has a tendency to get in the way and these important tasks often end up on the back burner. But, in an effort to stay more connected with you I'm excited to introduce a new initiative that I like to call "The Friday Five." This weekly feature will delve into a variety of topics such as personal and business wins, lessons learned from setbacks, recent tips and tricks, curated shopping recommendations, and much more. Rest assured that each installment of "The Friday Five" will be brief allowing you to easily digest the information and apply it to your own life. So, without any further delays, let's jump right into this week's edition.
P.S. if you’re reading this and haven’t yet signed up for our newsletter, you can do so here.
ONE
My husband and I have been watching The Fall of the House of Usher the last couple of weeks, and if you’re looking for a scary series to binge, have at it!
TWO
This week wrapped our #SunfishLakePB project, which we had photographed and I CANNOT wait to share with you the professional images. The client unexpectedly sent me flowers this week, something I’ve never received post project, and I can’t even explain how much that simple act of kindness meant.
THREE
This week’s #TuesdayTip was a reminder to always get samples before you embark on any design project. It will help you create a cohesive design and feel more confident in your selections.
FOUR
I received devastating news this week that a former U of MN golfer’s cancer returned and he’s been given only a few weeks to live. His former teammate - Erik Van Rooyen - dedicated his PGA tour win on Sunday to his friend and his post win interview (with the reporter) brought me to tears. I urge you to watch as we all need this reminder.
